
Baba Nirmal Singh Maharaj was born on July 7, 1952, in Dugri, near Ludhiana. Devotees say that he was an incarnation of Lord Shiva. According to some people, he performed many miraculous feats in his childhood, such as filling inkpots by just touching them and getting out of locked rooms, while many others consider these to be rumors.

Even after his interest in spirituality, he pursued double master’s degrees in English and Economics for his family. He also held a clerical job at the Punjab School Education Board but left everything in 1975 to follow the path of spirituality.
In his early days, he was a wandering baba, visiting homes and giving blessings one by one. By 1983, he had become quite famous in Punjab and Delhi.
He was very well-known among prominent celebrities such as Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor, L.K. Advani, Rajnath Singh, Kiran Bedi, Maneka Gandhi, and many more.
Guruji never preached in his life; instead, he connected with his followers through gestures and energy. Shukrana Guruji’s satsangs were very simple, featuring chai prasad, langar, and meditation. Still, many people claimed that they were cured of illnesses just by being there.
When he took Maha Samadhi?
Guruji took mahasamadhi on May 31, 2007, at Shiv Mandir (Bada Mandir) in Chattarpur, Delhi. However, his followers claim that they can still feel his presence. According to his followers, he exited his body consciously and took samadhi, but a few people claimed that he died due to cancer, from which he had been suffering for the last three years
