A tragic case from Telangana has left many stunned after a young man took his own life
when his parents couldn’t fulfill his wish for a BMW car.

A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Siddipet district, Telangana, where a 21-year-old youth
Johnny died by suicide after his parents couldn’t fulfill his demand for a BMW car. Johnny
had studied only up to Class 10 and was helping his family with farming. His parents who
are small-scale farmers owning just two acres of land.
According to reports, the teenager had recently demanded a BMW, a luxury car far beyond
what his middle-class family could afford. Despite their financial limitations, his parents
were willing to buy him a Maruti Swift instead. However, the boy rejected the offer, insisting
only on the BMW. This disagreement reportedly led him to take the extreme step. After returning home on Friday night, Johnny consumed a weedicide. His parents immediately rushed him to the government hospital in Gajwel, and he was later transferred to RVM Hospital in Mulug, where he sadly passed away.
The incident has left the community in shock and raised deep concerns about rising material
expectations and emotional well-being among the youth.
