She visited Pakistan in 2023, where she met Pakistan High Commission officer Ehsan Ur Rahim alias Danish, and established a relationship. She has been accused of sharing India’s confidential details with Pakistan in return for money.
Jyoti Malhotra has been arrested by the Hisar police of Haryana Police, along with five of her friends, for sharing confidential details of India. She had been sharing these details for almost the last two years
She was in touch with the ISI through Ehsan Ur Rahim, also known as Danish, to make their operations successful. This appears to be a honey trap orchestrated by Pakistani officials, as not only Jyoti but also another woman, Ghazala from Malerkotla, Punjab was used in a similar honey trap by Ehsan Ur Rahim alias Danish after the death of her husband.
Pakistan is using honey traps to exploit Indian women for sensitive internal details to use against India.
