Huge, 5,000 Pakistanis living in Delhi identified by the Intelligence Bureau ordered to leave.

Daily news

Following the recent, deeply upsetting terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, the central government has issued a directive resulting in the cancellation of visas for Pakistani living in Delhi. The Intelligence Bureau has handed over the list of over 5,000 Pakistanis residents living in Delhi to police to ensure these people return home. The recent, heartbreaking terrorist attack on tourists in the Pahalgam district of Jammu and Kashmir has prompted the central government to issue a directive, leading to the cancellation of visas held by Pakistani citizens. The Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) has thoughtfully shared this list with the Special Branch of the Delhi Police. To ensure thorough verification and proper identification, it has also been passed along to the relevant district authorities. The list thoughtfully includes the names of Hindu Pakistani citizens who hold Long Term Visas (LTVs) and have been granted certain exemptions. On Friday, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order canceling the visas of all Pakistani citizens, with the exception of those holding medical, diplomatic, and long-term visas. This order will come into effect starting April 27, 2025. Even existing medical visas will no longer be valid after April 29, 2025. The government subsequently clarified that the Long Term Visas (LTVs) previously granted to Hindu Pakistani citizens will remain valid. It’s estimated that around 900 individuals reside near Majnu ka Tilla, and another 600-700 people live in the vicinity of the Signature Bridge here in Delhi. You can watch the full video on Youtube.
