Kedarnath Helicopter Crash On June 15, 2025, a Bell 407 helicopter operated by Aryan Aviation crashed in Gaurkund near Kedarnath in which 7 people including the pilot died tragically. Dense fog and poor visibility in the remote Gaurikund forested area triggered the crash around 5:30 am IST. The victims included the pilot—an ex-Army officer—and devotees from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Uttarakhand.
