- In India, Kia debuted the Carens Clavis. Model bookings will be available for Rs. 25,000 starting on May 9 at 12 AM.
- In contrast to the regular Kia Carens, the Carens Clavis is equipped with Level 2 ADAS. This package of advanced driver assistance systems includes 20 autonomous functionalities in addition to the usual safety features.
- Ahead of its release, the 2025 Kia Carens has been seen in its entirety without any camouflage. On May 8, this version will be released in India.

In the Carens Clavis, comfort is a fundamental aspect, intricately integrated into every element. The cabin, accommodating seven passengers, provides ample room throughout all three rows, and the Dual Panoramic Display fits perfectly into the interior, ensuring navigation and entertainment are readily accessible.

- The 1.5-liter NA petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel engines that are now available for the Carens are also available for the Clavis.
- Six-speed manual, six-speed AT, six-speed iMT, and seven-speed DCT units are available as transmission options.

- An ADAS suite, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a fully digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel, a redesigned console for the AC switches, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite are among the features of the Clavis.
- Safety takes center stage in the Clavis, which comes loaded with six airbags, advanced ABS with EBD for confident braking, and parking sensors at both ends to make tight spots easier to handle. It also keeps you in check with a smart seat belt reminder and a speed alert system that gently nudges you to drive responsibly.

The Kia Carens Clavis is expected to come with a slight price bump over the current Carens, with a starting price of around ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom).
