Fact-Checking Policy

At AheadNewz, we are committed to delivering accurate, reliable, and well-sourced content. We take a rigorous approach to verifying facts and ensure transparency in our editorial process.

We investigate every claim with healthy skepticism, question assumptions, and challenge conventional narratives. Our team strives to achieve “due accuracy,” meaning the level of accuracy appropriate to the subject and nature of the content, while also being upfront about any limitations or constraints that may affect reporting.

All content published on AheadNewz is expected to be properly sourced, evidence-based, and corroborated. When information is not fully verified, it is clearly attributed to the source, and speculative commentary is avoided. If we are uncertain about something, we say so.

Our journalists are prohibited from plagiarizing, misrepresenting facts, or manipulating visuals. Independent verification is especially important when reporting on statements or allegations from public officials or sources with vested interests.

We stand by our reporting. If a mistake is identified, we take prompt action to update or correct the story. We do not knowingly mislead, fabricate information, or distort facts. Factual errors are acknowledged and corrected transparently.

Readers are encouraged to report any inaccuracies via the “Suggest A Correction” link located at the bottom of every article. Our editorial team is responsive to credible correction requests.

All stories undergo a multi-level fact-checking and editorial review process. The level of editorial oversight is determined by the complexity, sensitivity, and time pressure of the report. Editors review every story before publication to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Correction Policy

While AheadNewz strives for accuracy in every piece of content we publish, we recognize that errors can occasionally occur. When they do, we take full responsibility and correct them as quickly and transparently as possible.

Reader-Initiated Corrections

Readers who spot a mistake are encouraged to contact our editor-in-chief directly to initiate a correction. You may reach out via email at info@aheadnewz.com with the subject line: “Correction Needed.” Please include the following:

  • The nature of the error
  • Where the error appeared (online or in print)
  • The issue date or article link
  • Your contact information (email or phone)
  • The correct information, and a reliable source if available

Note: A correction request ensures the issue will be reviewed, but does not guarantee a correction will be issued.

Editorial Review and Action

Upon receiving a report, the editor-in-chief will investigate the matter thoroughly using all available resources, including original source material, reporter notes, and external references.

If an error is confirmed, the correction process follows these steps:

  • Website: The article will be updated, and an editor’s note will be added at the bottom indicating the nature of the correction and when it was made.
  • Print: If the error appeared in a printed edition, the correction will be published on page 2A of the next issue.
  • Social Media: If the article was shared on platforms like Facebook or Twitter, we will update or repost the corrected version and clearly state that a correction was made.

Once the correction is complete, the editor-in-chief will follow up with the reader who submitted the correction to share what actions were taken.

Our goal is to uphold public trust by ensuring that all content published by AheadNewz is fair, transparent, and accurate.
